The tasks come from O*NET (United States) and ESCO (Europe), the world's two occupation databases. How the work is done can differ in Uganda; our team adds the local way where it does.

    Code, classify, and catalogue books, publications, films, audio-visual aids, and other library materials, based on subject matter or standard library classification systems.

    Keep up-to-date records of circulation and materials, maintain inventory, and correct cataloguing errors.

  3. 3

    Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot information access aids, such as databases, annotated bibliographies, Web pages, electronic pathfinders, software programs, and online tutorials.
