Terms
Terms of Use
Last updated 18 October 2026
These terms apply when you use The Collar360 website, mobile app, USSD service or voice line, run by The Collar360 Careers Ltd, Kampala, Uganda. By creating an account or registering for an event, you agree to them. Please read them together with our Privacy Notice.
01The service
The Collar360 helps young people discover careers, build a career profile and find opportunities, and helps schools, employers and partners reach them. It also handles registration for career events. The service is free to use. We add and improve features over time and may change or withdraw a feature when needed.
02Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, use The Collar360 with the knowledge of your parent or guardian.
- Give true and current details, and keep one account for yourself.
- Keep your password and sign-in codes private. You are responsible for what is done through your account; tell us at once if you think someone else is using it.
- Organisations (employers, institutions, sponsors) must give accurate details about the organisation; we may check them before showing them as verified.
03Events and payments
- Events on The Collar360 are run by their organisers, who set the programme, the fees and what each fee covers.
- Fees are paid directly to the organiser, by mobile money to the number shown, using your registration or class number as the reference. The Collar360 never takes payments for events and is not a party to them. Questions about payments and refunds go to the organiser.
- Your ticket and QR code are personal; the organisers may refuse entry to tickets that are copied or altered.
- Attendance certificates are issued under each event's rules (for example, to people who attended and paid for one). Each certificate can be checked at collar360.com; altering or forging one is not allowed.
- Teachers who register a class confirm that they do so on behalf of their school and that the students' details are correct.
04Fair use
You must not:
- give false information, pretend to be someone else, or upload documents that are not yours or are altered;
- use The Collar360 to send spam, mislead people, or ask anyone for money to apply for a job;
- try to get into other people's accounts or parts of the platform you are not allowed to use, or disrupt or overload the service;
- copy data from the platform in bulk by automated means.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the law.
05Your content
You keep ownership of what you add, such as your profile and documents. You allow us to store and show it as the service needs, for example to the organisations or organisers you deal with through the platform. The Collar360 name, logo and platform belong to The Collar360 Careers Ltd.
06Our responsibility
We work to keep The Collar360 accurate, secure and available, but we provide it as it is and cannot promise it will always be free of errors or interruptions. Information about careers, opportunities and events comes partly from others; please check important details with the organisation concerned. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for losses caused by events, offers or payments made between you and other users or organisers.
07Closing your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile) or on the website (Your account), or by emailing [email protected] from the email address on it; see how to delete your account. What happens to your data is explained in our Privacy Notice.
08Changes and law
